Accessibility Statement
M×Φ — Annals of Mathematics and Philosophy is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Standards Compliance
This website strives to conform to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the W3C.
Measures Taken
- Semantic HTML: pages use appropriate elements (
<article>,<nav>,<main>,<section>,<header>,<footer>) to convey document structure to assistive technologies. - Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements (links, buttons, tabs) are reachable and operable via keyboard, with visible focus indicators (
:focus-visible). - Skip link: a “Skip to content” link allows keyboard users to bypass navigation and jump directly to the main content.
- ARIA attributes: navigation landmarks, the language switcher, and citation tabs use appropriate ARIA roles, labels, and states (
aria-label,aria-current,role="tablist",aria-selected). - Alternative text: all images include descriptive
altattributes. - Multilingual support: the site declares its language via the
langattribute on<html>, and all accessibility labels are translated into the five supported languages. - Colour contrast: the colour palette is designed to meet WCAG AA contrast requirements.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:
- PDF documents may not meet all accessibility standards.
- Some embedded third-party content may not be fully accessible.
